Spreading a little bit of Christmas cheer for our members

At the Collector Cartel, we’ve always believed that community comes first that collecting is more than buying books; it’s the people, the passion, the shared excitement that make this hobby special.

So this December, we wanted to do something genuinely meaningful for the people who make the Cartel what it is: you, our members.

A Gift From Us - Brought to Life by Buğra

To celebrate the festive season, we teamed up with the amazing artist Buğra Batuhanbera, one of the Cartel’s most-loved artistic forces. Buğra has been creating personalised character illustrations for every single Cartel member, each one completely custom, based on the character they chose.

The results?

Honestly… breathtaking. Buğra has delivered piece after piece of stunning, energetic, character-packed artwork. Every illustration has been a reminder of why we love working with top-tier talent who genuinely care about the community.

Turning December Into an Art Advent Calendar

To make things even more fun and add a bit of Christmas magic - we told every member their artwork would be revealed on a specific day in December. Each person was assigned a number, and that number became their “reveal day,” all counting down toward Christmas.

Every morning, a new video drops featuring another original Buğra piece. Members get the excitement of waiting for their day, the community gets a daily treat, and the whole Cartel is buzzing with anticipation.

It’s essentially an Art Advent Calendar, Cartel style but instead of chocolate, you get bespoke artwork from one of the best illustrators around.

Why We Did It

This year has been incredible for the Cartel - new blood, new exclusives, new partnerships, and a stronger community than ever. And none of it happens without our members.

This project is our way of saying thank you.
