Big Rig: Our Second Exclusive

Big Rig: Our Second Exclusive

Big Rig

At Collector Cartel™, we don’t believe in “right place, right time.” Luck isn’t random—it’s created. It’s about showing up, putting in the work, and being ready when opportunity knocks.

Flash back to Free Comic Book Day earlier this year. Rich was in Leeds, making the rounds at local shops, when he stumbled upon something unexpected: Post Malone’s Big Rig. The only shop that had it? Travelling Man - where our very own Bear Maximum artist, Kris Stewart works.

Kris had handpicked a stack of what he felt were the hottest titles of 2025. Among them was Big Rig—and he’d just received an email from Vault Comics offering the chance for a store-exclusive coverTravelling Man passed at the time, but Kris knew exactly who might jump at the chance: Collector Cartel™.

That same afternoon, Rich fired off an email to Vault explaining our ambition to be part of Big Rig. By the very next day, the answer came back: yes.

There was only one catch - the deadline was brutal. We needed an artist who could deliver something incredible, fast. And we knew exactly who to call: Buğra Batuhan Berah, our first Artist to Icon.

This was the perfect moment to introduce Buğra’s talent to the world. He sketched an electrifying concept that Vault immediately approved, then spent two weeks turning it into a cover that absolutely blew us away. (Look closely at the character’s right hand - he’s wearing the One Ring, which Post famously bought as a Magic: The Gathering card for $2M!). We were also keen to collaborate with Travelling Man as we had the online presence but they offered a bricks & mortar solution, and once we showed them Buğra's work, they jumped at the chance.

Big Rig became Evil Dead meets Mad Max: Fury Road X Collector Cartel, Travelling Man & Buğra. Proof that when you create your own luck, incredible things happen.
