Battle of the Artists
An international comic art competition by Collector Cartel, Raremarq and OLO Marker
Collector Cartel, OLO Marker and Raremarq have come together to create a new international comic art competition designed to showcase creativity, skill and interpretation.
The Battle of the Artists brings together comic artists from around the world who will take on a series of themed creative challenges. Each artist approaches the same prompt in their own way, resulting in completely different interpretations and styles.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Collector Cartal and OLO Marker for the first-ever Battle of the Artists event,” said Raremarq co-founder Chris Tung. “This event brings together incredible artists from around the globe, and we hope fans are just as excited as we are to watch these talented creators go head-to-head.”

Throughout the competition artists progress through multiple rounds where technique, creativity and interpretation are evaluated. Each piece stands on its own and reflects the artist’s individual approach to the same brief.

Industry professionals will review and judge the submitted artwork, providing the professional evaluation, while the community also plays a part in shaping the outcome.
Community Vote
Fans are able to take part through public voting, helping determine which artists advance through the competition. This combines industry critique with community opinion.
Battle of the Artists is built to celebrate different styles, highlight international talent and bring artists and collectors into the same creative space.
